Electric Feel is a Fanzine featuring Class 1-A's own "Chargebolt."
This zine will feature Writers, Artists, and Merch Artists. We want to show our good bean all the love, and are open to may different parts of his life. Be it in the hall of UA, or fighting Villains with the help of fellow Heroes, most anything goes!We will have a physical A5 main book, with an additional digital NSFW extension. Due to our NSFW extension, all applicants MUST be 18 years or older to applyMentions of heavy topics and / or blood and violence due are welcome.We plan to accept approximately:
15-20 artists
10 Writers
4-5 Merch Artiststhese number may change depending upon applications

Applicant Information

Artists will be expected to create either a single paged or a double-paged spread for this zine.Merch Artists will be expected to create a minimum of 2 merch pieces, but may have the opportunity of creating moreWriters will be expected to write one self-contained fic with a maximum word count of 3K wordsCosplayers will be expected to create one photographed work in either a single or double-paged format.Podficers will be expected to lend their voices to narrating written fics in our zine.Please provide the following in your application:- Please provide 3 Samples of work
Samples may be submitted as either a Google Drive folder, Shop Website, or any other online portfolio.- Please provide a portfolio, which should contain your larger body of works.
Your three samples may be in this portfolio as well, but we do ask for additional works to be shared.This project will feature a SFW main zine, and an NSFW side zine. If you are applying for both SFW and NSFW, please be sure to have at least one of each category in your samples.Samples that are centered around My Hero Academia / Boku no Hero Academia are encouraged, but not required.Your samples do not have to include Kaminari, but they are recommended!Please be sure to check that your links are accessible and not password protected. If we cannot access the link, your application will immediately be disqualified.A pitch category will be listed, but is not required to apply

What is a Zine?
A zine is a collection of fanworks, typically containing art and writing. These fanworks are self published into both physical booklets and digital pdfs. Zines typically are created within fandom spaces, by fans for fansWhat is a pitch?
A pitch is an overall idea for your piece! This term is often taken from Cinema where one would "pitch" the idea of their film or television series to a director. This is often a verbal or visual explanation of their idea! Similar to that notion, a pitch is just an idea that you have for this zine should you be accepted! They can be as detailed or as vague as you would like them to be!Is this a charity or for-profit project?
We are for-profit!Can other characters be featured in this project?
Yes, so long as Kaminari is the main focus of the piece.Will you accept Grayscale or Ink works for artists?
Yes, we plan to allow for Grayscale or traditional ink for artworks. Be sure to mention that you wish to apply with this in your application.Will this zine feature AU's?
AU are welcome!Will this zine feature ships?
They may be present, yes!Are Traditional artists allowed to apply?
Yes! We ask that all Traditional pieces we scanned or presented clearly, please!Will Contributors and Mods receive a copy of the project?
Everyone will automatically receive a pdf of the project. Should enough sales be made, they will also be provided with a physical copy!Will you be accepting other mods for this project?
Not at this time! We do have a full team!Are Mods allowed to participate, or will they have to apply like a contributor?
Mods will be allowed to participate in this project if they so wish to! Mods will not have to apply in order to partake in the zine!If accepted for a mod or contributor position, will there be a place we can communicate?
Yes, all communication will be ran through a discord server. You will be required to be a part of the server, so we recommend you be ready to create an account if you do not already have one!Will ships or other fandom preferences disqualify applicants from this project?
No ! You're free to ship / draw / write anything outside of this project. Our Mods will be required to hold no strong bias against ships or fandom preferences. We expect respect and polite attitudes between everyone in the server, between both Mods and Contributors alike.
